How to Create Roles & Permission for your Users?

Biztory now lets you create a role and permission for your user.

Let us share with you a few tips on why you should set roles and permission for your user

Imagine owning a bustling restaurant. Would you give every waiter unrestricted access to the safe and recipe book? Probably not. Just like in that scenario, using a robust accounting software without proper user roles and permissions exposes your sensitive financial data to unnecessary risk and inefficiency.


Here are the steps on how to create roles and permission for your user.

1. Go to your profile on the top menu and click on the company tab and click settings.

2. Click on Add New and you'll encounter this form;


2.1 If you want this role to not be able to do anything other than view the documents, tick here




2.2 If you want this role to be able to create the documents, tick here ; 


2.3 If you want this role to be able to edit the documents that have been created, tick here


2.4 If you want this role to be able to delete the documents, tick here




2.5 However, if you have a specific permission for a document, click on the hyperlink here; 


3. Once you're done, click save.
