Why do you need to create an Expense
By recording your expenses like rent, office supplies or travel costs, you gain a clear picture of where your money goes as it allows you to identify areas where you might be spending too much.
Keeping a record of your expenses is crucial for tax purposes as it provides documented proof for tax filing and allows you to claim deductions for legitimate business expenses.
How to Create an Expense in Biztory?
1. Click on Purchases and go to Expenses
2. Click on Add New
3. Fill up the form
3.1 Click on Add Supplier to choose your supplier.

3.2 Fill up your expense details here.
3.3. Click on tagging to add a tag for this Expense
(If you don't want to add a tag, you may jump to step 3.6 ; If you don't see tagging, you may contact Customer Service for help in enabling it.)
3.4 Click on the input field and type the tag you want. Then press 'Enter' or a comma (,) to add the tag. You can repeat this step to add multiple tags.
3.5 Click on Save
3.6 Fill up the expenses category details in the line item section.

4. Once you're done, hit Save.
