What is a Return Merchandise Report

In consignment scenarios, it details receiving goods from a consignor, selling them, purchasing sold items, and creating a delivery order for unsold items. In delivery order scenarios, this report tracks products delivered to customers that are later returned, documenting the return process and helping manage inventory and refunds. This report ensures proper documentation for inventory management and financial adjustments.





How to view the Return Merchandise Report?


1. Click on Reports and select View More





2. Click on Custom





3. Click on Return Merchandise Report to view it

(For filtering instructions, proceed to the next step)





4. Click on Filter




5. Select a Document Type to view the Report

(If you are not sure of the document type of a delivery order, you can refer to this How to create a Delivery Order)





6. Click on Apply

(You will see all the data that matches to the document type)




7. Use the various filters to refine your search results.

(Once you have selected your filters, click on 'Apply' to view the filtered data.)
