How to Set Unit of Measurement for Product (New Vers.)

Setting the unit of measurement for a product is important for accurate financial record-keeping and reporting. It ensures that each product is consistently measured and documented. This precision helps to maintain accurate inventory records, streamline audits, and provide clear financial insights for business decisions. 

1. Click on Products/Services and select 'Products/Services'

2. Click on Add New

3. Add a new product

4. Check 'set unit of measurement for this product'

If you don't see the UOM feature, you may contact customer service for assistance 

5. Enter the unit measure

6. Enter the exchange rate

7. Click the 3 dots and select 'Set Default' to make the base reference default

8. Select 'Add Item' to add a new unit of measurement

9. Click on Save
