Setting Commission by Quantity in Tier Basis

Introduction: 

Setting commission rates based on quantity tiers ensures fair compensation for salespeople based on their performance. 

This guide provides a step-by-step approach to configuring commission schemes based on quantity sold.






  1. Access Commission Setup
  • Navigate to the “Commission” section


2.Create a New Commission Scheme.

Click on "Add New”



3.Enter Scheme Details:

  • Scheme Name: Provide a name for the commission scheme to easily identify its purpose.
  • Basis Type: Choose "Quantity item sold" from the dropdown menu. 
  • This indicates that the commission will be calculated based on the quantity of items sold.


4.Tier Type: Select "Marginal" to apply different commission rates progressively as sales quantities increase.




  • Select “By product” to define commission rates per unit for each product.
  • Calculate commission as:
  • Sold - AAA*1 = RM1 per Unit.
  • Sold - SHAMPOO1*1 = RM2 per Unit.

Tier By Product cannot be review, because it's manually added. Commission is count by per unit.


Optional Settings I :

  1. Salesperson: Assign specific salespersons to this commission scheme if needed.
  2. Max. Commission: Set a maximum commission limit if applicable.
  3. Min. Sales: Define a minimum sales threshold that must be met for the commission to apply.
  4. Product: Apply the commission scheme only to selected products if your business sells a variety of items.`
  5. Tag: Use tags to categorize or filter commission schemes for easier management.


Optional settings II:

  1. Shared By Pool: Enable this option to share commission among a group of salespeople. You can select specific salespersons entitled to share the group sales or allow sharing across all salespersons.
  2. Fully Paid : Enable this option to count commission only after the customer has made full payment.
  3. Fully Delivered : Enable this option to count commission only after the customer has received the goods.



5.Configure Commission Tiers

  • Scroll down to the Commission Table section.
  • Set up the commission tiers based on the quantity of items sold:
    • Example:
      • From 0 to 10 units: MYR 0 per Unit.
      • From 11 to 20 units: MYR 1 per Unit.
      • From 21 to 30 units: MYR 2 per Unit.


6.Preview and Save:

  • Review the commission table to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of the tiered structure.
  • Once satisfied, click on "Save" to finalize and implement the commission scheme.
