How to Create a Serial Number Product

Creating a serial number product involves assigning a unique serial number to each unit of a product, allowing for easy tracking and management. This process is essential for inventory control, warranty management, and product identification. By setting up serial numbers, you can ensure better organization, prevent loss or theft, and provide customers with accurate product details.

1. Click on Products/Services and select "Products/Services"

2. Click on "Add New"

3. Select IMEI/Serial No. Product

4. Enter the Item Code

5. Enter the Item Name

6. Check "I sell this product or service" (optional)

Check this only if you are selling this product or service.

7. Enter the original selling price

8. Choose the Account Type

9. Enter the Minimum Selling Price (MYR)

10. Check "Include Tax" (optional) 

11. Select the Output SST Tax Code

12. Enter "After SST"

13. Check "I purchase this item from supplier" (optional)

14. Choose the Account Type

15. Choose a supplier 

16. Enter the Buy Cost

17. Add a Supplier if you have another supplier

18. Toggle "Track the quantity of this product" to monitor your product inventory and expenses (optional)

19. Enter the Available Quantity

20. Enter the Minimum notification

21. Enter the Opening Cost (MYR)

22. Choose an Account Type

23. Check "Track Store" (optional)

24. Enter the Stock in store amount

25. Check "Auto-record this product to inventory journal" (optional)

26. Check "Enable FIFO for this product" (optional)

27. Check "Enable for guest" (optional)

28. Enter the item details description 

29. Enter the unit amount

30. Choose the categories

31. Add Product/Services image

32. Click on Save
