What is the use of Customer Statement?

The Customer Statement will display the top 20 customers (debtors) with outstanding balances, indicating the duration of their default and the amount owed. The amount presented in this report excludes overpaid debtors and invoices paid for future dates. The invoice amount shown is solely for the unpaid invoice amount.

To use it, just follow the steps below:

  1. Click "Sales"> "Customer Statement".

  1. After step 1, the top 20 customers and the amount of outstanding will be displayed. The user can click on the customer's name to view the list of the customer's outstanding.

  1. If you want to see other than the first 20 customers who have outstanding,  you can click "Payee" and enter the customer you want to view.

  1. The user can also set up a date inquiry,  such as all the debtor's outstanding will be display before the date due date, and the user can also click the invoice number to view the invoice details.

Some tips for reading the report:

Current:  Outstanding less than 1 day from the due date of the invoice (see "Due Date")

30 Days:  Outstanding within 1-30 days from the due date of the invoice (see "Due Date")

60 Days: Outstanding within 31-60 days from the due date of the invoice (see "Due Date")

90 Days: Outstanding within 61-90 days from the due date of the invoice (see "Due Date")

Above 90 Days: Outstanding Over 90 days from the due date of the invoice (see "Due Date")
