Why using sales invoice module to create the bill but it does no link to Tenancy Module

It is important to know that when the user using the Sales Invoice Module to generate a rental bill and selects a room, the Biztory system will take the invoice date and key in the room name to find the correct tenancy for this invoice

• when creating an invoice, the invoice date default is today’s date

• if the user selects the room before updating the invoice date, the tenancy might be linked wrong due to the date

  • for example, invoice date = 2024-04-26, then search room “P3919 R5”, the tenancy result for these inputs should be tenancy THIMIBRIPOLAGE PORNA THEJAN PEIRIS

  • then the user updated the invoice date to 2023-02-06, the tenancy part will not update again

• the correct flow should be user to select the correct date first and then select a room, so the linked tenancy will be correct

• if users want to update the invoice date, will need them to select the room again after the invoice date is updated, so the invoice can link to the correct tenancy 

Important note:

• When user want to update tenancy to correct tenancy in sale invoice, the sale invoice will appear in both old tenancy and new tenancy. To avoid this issue, the Biztory is not allow the user to update room when update sale invoice and the system is disabled the select room field when update sale invoice
  

• If the user want sale invoice link to correct tenancy, you may delete the sale invoice with wrong tenancy and create new invoice with correct tenancy by select invoice date first > search room name > select room
